ART

My artwork is in a lot of places - collecting it in photographs is an ongoing project, and works will be added here whenever possible... and I do keep making more... so in the meantime, more will appear whenever they do - thank you for being patient, and keep keeping an eye out for pieces added here. Keeps things interesting, I suppose.

I work in many different ways, and even I couldn't tell you precisely what determines which and how things happen. Me, the idea, and the material stuff of its making all get together and mess around until we come to a mutually agreeable something, and if we can all manage to stop together, that piece might be done.

I have sometimes done commissioned work, and would consider doing so again. Do contact me if you would like to discuss something like that.

Should you happen to own, or to be fostering or storing, any work not yet included here, would you please be so kind as to send me a photograph?  ...thank you!

To Be Continued

A series of intentions, making pieces of the future tangible. The first few pieces in the series are portraits of the recent past and the present (at time of painting and a little while thereafter), anchoring the intention of the series in reality - the rest are still to come.

Photography

There are far too many photos ever to all be here. Very few are named and tidied and sorted yet, and that will be an extremely long and ongoing project.

The Exhibit of the Collection of the Work of Dr. Otto Lunsch

..who may or may not have existed, so I made him real, and here is the body of work attributed to the illustrious eccentric. More regarding Dr. Lunch may be found in my written work, found here under Stories.

Naturework

Artwork created of and with the natural world... something I've always done little bits of, and which I am now taking more seriously. Photos to come, later, but by way of mental illustration, I find inspiration in the work of people like Andy Goldsworthy, and someone I don't remember enough about who grew trees into beautiful intertwining patterns and creations (I think there was a very large sphere, a cathedral, other things...), and the hermits and hedgewitches who offered the world back her own beauty because nothing else was real enough. I will honour this tradition and keep this gallery to share it.

...and this website...

...which I also made. Everything on it is my own design, work, and ideas, except for a tweaked photo from NASA, and the image which this background began its life as, before it spent time in photoshop. Both images were found in the public domain, and neither looks like it did then. Borrowed images in the blog are credited there.
