NEEDED: A port in a storm

Sadly, due to a serious deterioration in her health, Ann is no longer able to plan on sailing, or even living aboard, in the foreseeable future. She thanks everyone who has come along with her in the dream so far, and is asking for ideas and help.
Her immediate need is a place for Ann and Mr. Myrtle Sir to live (on shore) and focus on healing. She’s had to move into temporary lodgings, that are too expensive to stay in for long, and is asking all friends and readers of this blog to help look out for and let her know about any possibilities for suitable permanent lodging as soon as possible. Currently in the Belleville, Ontario area, she’s willing to move across Canada, but given her current condition, there are some considerations:
Very small budget
But needs a place that’s self contained (on her own) – her multiple chemical sensitivities have flared up badly (rashes!) so she needs to be able to control what substances come into the dwelling – so shared accommodation is probably out
She can’t manage stairs at the moment
Needs access to groceries, public transportation. As we know, Ann loves to be close to nature, but since she doesn’t drive (or have a car), and is not able to walk far, remote rural properties probably won’t work… but small towns might.
No severe winters
Please send any leads on possibilities to
Meanwhile, a kind friend has set up a GoFundMe for friends and admirers of Ann to help her through this difficult transition. The immediate use of the funds would be to enable Ann and MMS to have a safe place to stay while they search for a permanent solution.
